They aren't. Unless you live in a right to work state, you still have to pay the dues. Even at that, you do not get to vote on the contract, it's a take it or leave it situation for you. There are also other "members only" things the unions can offer. They generally are not deal breakers but all the same.

Is that supposed to explain, and justify, the union being forced to provide free services?? Because you Do NOT take away other people's rights just because doing so will let some damn company make a higher profit. That is totally absurd.
And do you wanna take a wild guess what will happen to the higher pay and benefits once the union is fully undercut and isn't there anymore? THEY'RE GONE

Yes, my argument wasnt anti union. I'm agnostic on unions. If you want to belong to one, great. If not, great again.
