Fiorina looked great.

Trump looked and acted like an idiot. He's by far the biggest loser because he had the most ground to lose.

Well there is proof that Obama has no respect for our system and the Supreme Court has absolutely no problem with stepping out of their bounds. How can this guy scare you if you aren't absolutely in a panic from what you are seeing from the current guy?

I think that this debate has eliminated Walker, Cruz, Santorum, Carson, and possibly Trump and Fiorina from serious contention.

Paul and Kasich gained ++++, as they emerged as the voices of sanity.

Bush--I don't get how a guy who once seemed so smart could degenerate into the weird, lost candidate.

Fiorina--her only advantage was that Trump insulted her. She is frankly, weird as hell, and has no record at all to run on.

Trump--funny guy, entertainer, celebrity. He may have peaked.

Cruz--never really a serious contender. Odd man.

Rubio--cute and earnest kid. Come back in 5 years.

Christie--Tony Soprano.

I also think Cruz did pretty badly tonight. He should be out by now. As should Bush, but all that money will probably keep him in when he doesn't deserve to be.

I actually was impressed by Paul and Kasich, but they both are probably too intelligent for the Republican base. And I don't see how Carson holds onto the number two spot after his lackluster performance tonight.
I thought Kasich was rather lackluster though he had some good moments. Agree about Paul. I do think Rubio did well especially on foreign policy. Carson was tepid and lacking in substance - poorly thought out ideas especially on immigration - he's out of touch with reality on that. Fiorina had a few good zingers but I was unimpressed with her substantively. Christie did better than expected but he's also way out of touch on immigration and Rand handed it to him on the medical marijuana federal v state issues. Cruz, Walker, Huckabee might as well drop out. The whole Cruz constantly looking at the camera made him seem even more fake. Just answer the damn question and quite trying to market yourself. Trump didn't do particularly well but I think he'll still poll well because he really did drive home the point about not being able to be bought out by the 1% and as long as that still resonates with people, he'll remain popular. His mouth did come back to bite him though, that's for sure.
