"Are you always this inane? I'm guessing you are."

When dealing with the inane, yes, I often resort with the same, because there really is no good way to deal with stupidity.

If you can't beat them, join them sort of thing...

WHAT! It was more like a bail out for the health and pharmaceutical industry which is part of Corporate America, Capitalism at its worst. In Nazi Germany the government controlled the corporations but here in the good old U.S.A. the Corporations control the government.
Sheldon Wolin in 2003 to describe the emerging form of government of the United States as Inverted Totalitarianism. I call it for what it is Fascism.
Obama is anything but a Socialist, he is a war criminal in bed with the corporations, as Dr. Cornel West said “He posed as a progressive and turned out to be counterfeit. We ended up with a Wall Street presidency, a drone presidency”
He also describes Obama as “a black mascot of Wall Street oligarchs and a black puppet of corporate plutocrats. And now he has become head of the American killing machine and is proud of it.”

A single anonymous "source in the Vatican" has been expressing concerns to the WSJ, sure, but that's hardly "The Vatican".

Asked if anyone from the Vatican had raised the issue either with the White House or with the U.S. delegation, the Vatican spokesman, the Rev. Federico Lombardi, who is traveling with the pope, e-mailed this statement to The Post: “I can only say that the invitations are in the responsibility of the White House. There has been no official statement from the Vatican on this issue.â€

Since they are both good moral and caring men, that's a compliment to them both.
