Don't seem like a disaster to me. If anything, I'm feeling much safer today than I did yesterday.

Construction disasters happen pretty regularly in Mecca? That's news to me. But it seems like such a huge coincidence that the crane belonged to the bin Laden family's company and that the thing keeled over and killed people on September 11th.

I gotta be honest, I don't really care if a bunch of people not following the rules die in a stampede. It happens at rock concerts, sporting events, etc. Why is this any MORE tragic than people dying in a stampede at a soccer stadium in Europe? (Hint: It's not.)

There are stupid, crazy and dangerous people in every religion (e.g. Kim Davis, Paul Hill). But how can anyone argue after something like this that Islam does not have an order of magnitude more stupid, crazy and dangerous people in it? This level of dysfunction is hard for me to comprehend. Muslims are just not a peace loving people. It is a religion of violent extremism.

If one person was stomped to death trying to look at the Pope in the US this week it would be a huge news story.

At least no one set off a car bomb disguised as a "Clock".
