I think many people are going to be wishing for Boehner back if the Tea Party gains control of the speakership.
Absolutely.

But Boehner is not a moderate, he's just not a ideologue extremist.
I just think he couldn't put up with the tea party BS any longer. Not only did he have to work with Obama and the Dems - but he also had to try and keep the teabaggers in line. Really - not a good place to be; I would have quit last year if I were him.

He is nothing other than a democrat disguised and a Republican. You must be very disappointed to see him leave and no longer supporting obama...
He is a right winger. Try to keep up. Just because he's not out holding hands with Kim Davis doesn't mean he's not a right winger. Just because he wasn't who you wanted; doesn't mean he didn't do anything.
He actually did helped to kill Obama's legislative agenda a number of times.
You couldn't pay me to put up with the bullshyte that he's put up with for the past several years, especially as the Republican party is divided in two.

I know, anything to the left of the extreme far right is considered far left to you guys. I hope the GOP is dumb enough to pick a far right speaker so that they might run the House into the ground an lose control of it again.
