There are things that should be constant though. One of the main ones is work ethic since we cannot afford to subsidize those whose culture does not encourage education or work.

I say BS! There is nothing xenophobic about a country's citizens wanting to retain their identifying culture, language and way of life. That's not to say that they object to minority cultures living among them as long as they are in the country legally and in controlled numbers.

Love it! Minorities have been dealing with the issue of being a minority for a long time now, but you can just see from so much written here, how being a minority can be a frightening thing for some. Maybe another observation well worthy of consideration.
You mean like Mexico in 2015? Word is maybe 1 Mexican in 10 is "white"; which def a "minority" but, they still rule the roost and how.

Well; if you're right, it blew up in the Huff Post's face.

My brother (who also lives there) has seen a lot of what he believes are Syrians...burka clad and looking confused. He doesn't know where they're living, only glad it's not in his neighborhood.
THAT I def believe. It def messes with Spanish speaking Hispanics to talk in front of them in a language that ain't English or Spanish. A friend of mine use to talk in front of some Latinos in Swedish; those Latinos were made to feel real small. they hated it but couldn't say "boo" because it'd be thrown in their faces over them NOT using English even tho they could speak it.

So exactly what does this country gain, financially, culturally, in any sense, from "diversity'?

How does it make it better to bring a third world culture to the first world, in any country, if the immigrants refuse to assimilate and continue to live in a fashion that left their home country so unlivable in the first place?

If the immigrants are such an assert to the first world why didn't they create a paradise there?

It's not race that divides us, it's culture. And we don't need toxic culture.

If immigrants continue to refuse to assimilate, we'll be left with the United Silos of America, a disparate group of cultures with only their own interests at heart.

That's the billion-dollar question. And I wouldn't wait underwater for the answer.

What's wrong with being "racist" or "fascist?" They're only leftist bugaboos anyway; they mean nothing.
