As far as Dems moving the country forward, because they are Santa Clause government they are only moving us into insolvency. Think Greece!

They will for sure. 24 seats up for election for the Republicans, and only 10 for the Democrats. Many of the 24 seats are in Blue States. Per experts, the top 10 seats most likely to flip are all Republican, except for the seat to be vacated by Harry Reid in NV which is a toss up.

Could be the Republican Senate sees this writing on wall and are trying to play nice.
You can't play nice with scorpions.

Thank you Dems for continuing to keep this country moving forward.
Not looking good for Obama, in spite of your cheerleading. He was hoping that a fight over a shut down would keep the attention off of the disaster in Syria.

There's been "shutdowns" before, and those things didn't happen. More hysteria from the left.

Dems moving this Country forward, is news to most of us that use our brains, not the ones who have a stick up their rear, and believe only their way is right.

Most can see that this Country for the most part, is not moving forward, is in a bad way, and those who were promised Obama would touch their lives, has not happened.

Middle class no more, and blacks have not been helped by our first Black President, oh wait the President does have half white.

And "shutting down the government" is gonna affect you, like... HOW? I'll answer that - not at all. Nothing more than Saturday-Sunday. Blowing taxpayer money is the problem. The GOP has been impotent. I suspect this is the beginning of the end of the GOP. Unless the democrats start putting a lot more crumbs on everybody's plate there's gonna be a new party - soon.

We can continue to fund this government.

A 300,000 study to know if japanese quail are more sexual active on cocaine.
800,000 dollars for a televised cricket game for Afghanistan.
250,000 inviting 24 kids from Pakistan to go to space camp.
Sending college kids to Hawaii on a all expenses trip to come up with a MENU if we colonize mars what the menu would be. College kids answer "pizza"

Wasted money, borrowed from China to support this.

Shut it down!
