What will?
Exactly what Liberals refuse to acknowledge.

A return to conservative values instead of embracing a culture that celebrates division and immortality.

Default Sad thing is stricter gun laws won't stop the madness

That's because it has nothing to do with guns, it's a mental illness problem, these people doing this are not your normal everyday person who just snaps and kills people, they are sick in the head and there is very little that can be done. Our cure for this is to hand out some happy pills which may make them even worst.
325 million people and nobody will ever be able to pick out the crazy ones until they have acted.

I'm reading a lot of crystal ball stuff.

Maybe
Might
Could
Possibly

You can't regulate a Society based on those.

So the NRA is fighting to keep guns readily available to the mentally ill who can easily buy them from a private vendor at a gun show without any background checks.

Once again; NRA NRA NRA!
That's all we hear and read!
Do any of you have ANY idea at all of how many gun owners DO NOT belong to the NRA or any other gun organization?
Do you have ANY IDEA how many gun owners just write letters to their elected representatives?
THEY are the people Washington is listening to!
Yes, the GOA and the NRA have lobbyists in D.C.
But the home folks who are writing letters and sending emails are MUCH more important than any organization or association. THEY are the people who VOTE! The senators and congresscritters tend to listen to the folks at home!
Since they were elected to represent the folks at home, it is a really good idea to listen to them if you want to keep your job!

In Oregon and neighboring California all gun show purchases require background checks. Same here in Illinois. That's why Chicago has so few incidents of gun violence.

Being guns are not the problem and ignorant people don't understand that, a background check doesn't tell you if a person has a mental illness only if you have a criminal record.

The issue is how to stop massacres (on a regular basis) by loony folks that are part of the gun culture.
Don't you get tired of proving how ignorant you are? Massacres are usually committed by liberals like you, not people who are part of "the gun culture".
