The revolving door between Congress and lobbyists is certainly not limited to healthcare.

If they don't land with a lobby they are hired by " think tanks" seeking to influence public policy in favor of their benefactors.

Based on increase in premiums between 2000- 2010, this is true.
OPM announced that the health premiums for the average federal worker will increase at twice the rate they jumped from 2014 to 2015. Reasons cited include the uptick in drug costs. Interestingly, drugs account for 27% of the federal health benefits compared to 10% for typical employers nationwide.

Feds' health care costs to increase on average by 6.4 percent - FederalNewsRadio.com

But federal retirees will go up over 7%. The average increase will be about $510 per family. Dental and vision going up too. Is this fair when federal workers have seen little to no pay increases over the last five years?
Well seeing that the private sector has had about the same.............yes.
They are the one giving benefits so they should not have to subsidize the burden in any form.

Says the progressive left that wanted ACA 2010 "rammed through" because it was (a) something, and (b) it would supposedly lower costs.

So you have one megamorphic entity buying the same drugs and questionable procedures for its soporific population. How's that working out for oppressively taxed and hopelessly underemployed Parisioners and Londoners who've made street protests an art form for over half a century.

And the clueless left still wants to be listened to on this.
