Think about it! How much money the taxpayer's are saved everytime someone kills himself, after killing a number of people, or just a few people!

Think of the court costs, the $40-50k a year in prison costs, which could extend for 20-30-40-50 years! Think of that move theatre shooter in Denver, the long, never-ending trials, and his expectant prison costs, if only he had shot himself!

So, call me crazy, but I think these shooters at least deserve a royal funeral, with bouquets of flowers, as a way of us saying: Thank-you! Thank-you! For saving us taxpayers a big heap of money!

Of course, the victims will hotly disagree with this!

One of the stupidest threads I've ever seen in here, and that, is a major accomplishment.

Want to save money? Give him a fair trail (like everyone deserves, no matter what), find out the why's and how's, and if/when he is found guilty, you put a 25¢ bullet in his head and incinerate him with the rest of the garbage.

You know perfectly well that's not going to happen, so why even post it? I read a true crime book one time, the man was given the death sentence, and he wanted to be executed immediately, he wanted no appeals!

Dream on! On Death Row, the other inmates and guards made his life a living hell, until he caved in and went thru the long appeal process, and don't we all know how expensive it is to put anyone on Death Row!! Millions!

What's to be gained from punishment, as the taxpayers get punished, and victims themselves, in the form of the taxes to paid for confining someone like this, right straight out of your wallet.

But there's always going to be these spendthrifts who will insist on punishment, at a tremendous cost, and meanwhile, I read recently, there's 700 water main breaks each week in this country, our infrastructure going to hell in a hand basket! Bridges? Outdated water treatment plants?

Mass shooters should NOT be allowed to kill themselves like the cowards that they are. They should be killed by the first person they attack - because if there was one single ounce of intelligent though in the corrupt government of this country we would not have no gun zones and people would be allowed to protect themselves.

That would save not only a lot of tax dollars, but would spare us of a week's worth of ignorant blathering by the socialist media about the victims and the anti gun rhetoric of other leftists about how dangerous law abiding people with guns are and how only the mentally ill and criminals should be allowed to own them so as to make it easier for them to prey on the rest of us.

As for a funeral. Stake their heads on the schoolyard fence and leave their bodies in the street for the crows.

You asked the question "How should we thank them?"

So, you think the more likely thing to happen, is to spend money on a "royal funeral"? Immortalizing the killers name, giving him exactly what he wants? Giving incentive to others to do the same?

Who's paying for this funeral, exactly? Because if you mean a literal "royal funeral", you are looking at several million dollars.

I'd much rather this coward explain his actions and rot on death row, then throw him a friggin parade, never knowing why he killed my loved ones.

If I was running the show I'd bring back torture chambers for these devils.

I would like to hear that this new spat of mass shooters just end their own sorry lives instead of trying to make a name for themselves by going after a bunch of innocent people and gunning them down.

Yeah Life is NOT fair no matter how many times your parents tell you how brilliant and amazing you are in reality you are probably average at best. The trouble is when the kid that has been propped up his entire young life finally this the streets on his own and realizes that he won't be getting the gold star for showing up and a trophy for trying his best but instead gets chewed out by the boss for not doing the job or gets pissed off with the teacher because his sloppy book report got an "F" it is not his fault. It is not his fault because he is special but when he realizes he is not he gets angry and starts hating the world and starts to think that he will kill himself and take out as many other people as possible just like how he does in the first person shooter video games that he does excel at.

If we could get through to all these would be mass shooters and convince them to shoot themselves first before going on their murderous rampages the world would be a better place.

You could thank them but they wouldn't hear you, even if you yelled real loud.
