With our country going down the tube to those who voted for our lackluster-performance Obama twice, I wonder what can be legally done, as we the people, to stop the current government from taking our country away. I want some better ideas. It's not all about electing the right people though.

* Does the US congress have the right to a vote of dismissal of the sitting president?

* Do we have the right to convene to redress our grievances?

More ideas please.

People have been claiming the country has been going down the tube for the past 239 years.

It must be a very long tube.

Limit the franchise to responsible citizens:

Absolutely no convicted felons -- barred for life
No one on public assistance
No one in arrears on child support
No one who drops out of high school, until a GED is earned.

Anyone want to guess which major party would fight these measures?

Would this include the stockholders of corporations that receive subsidies and special tax cuts from the government?

You could storm the Bastille and throw the bums out. This might be where the Framers of the Constitution goofed up.
