No. I'm arguing that if you have complete disregard for our cultural laws then why should we care about your cultural laws? If you obey our laws, you are free to obey any other laws you like, unless those laws conflict with our laws.

How are all of you freaking out that cutting pork is being done specially to cater to Muslims, but saying nothing about the Jews who ALSO don't eat pork who benefit from this.
I guess Jews keeping kosher doesn't fit the extremist Muslims are taking over America narrative.
There are also some Christians who do not eat pork. Some of these people need more exposure.
Most prisons in the world say you're lucky to be eating. Period! Don't want to eat, then that's on you. There are no "religious exemptions". Try a Mexican prison, if you don't like it in the US. The US is famous for its mollycoddling of prisoners. Were so rich, even our dregs of society get preferential treatment.
Way I figure it, you eat what's there, or starve. Prison is not for the picky. But, this interpretation of what constitutes "cruel and unusual" has gotten out of hand. K don't see a Muslim having to eat pork as such. Live on Jello and canned corn , then.

Some Christians have religious laws about birth control, they haven't broken any laws and yet have to provide it to other people. Strange, you want to stick up for the muslims that have gone to prison for a crime, and protect them from pork........go figure! Why don't the muslims sit on the far end of the meal room to avoid seeing any pork!

People in prison don't get choices......or do you think they should?
Not really, the pork has been there since the beginning of prisons. Just as marriage between man and woman has been since ancient Rome.
I think they should have to pass a law to eliminate it out of their diet. What if white men decide they don't like radical Islam beginning taught in prisons, can they stop this?
