Constantly hear cons blame Islam which is essentially a book. They hate the book so much that theybburn it

You should go to the ISIS guys and tell them how much you support their book and that they are acting in accordance to its directives...I'm sure they'll be impressed...might even offer you a slave girl they've captured.
No one is blaming a book, it's the idiotic ideas in the book such as kill the Infidel where you find him. But I will say I would like to see all of those books burned so that the violent ideas directed by that book might die.

-- Muhammad said to the Jews: "If you embrace Islam, you will be safe. You should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle, and I want to expel you from this land. “

-- Mohammed said, "I have been ordered to fight with the people till they say, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and whoever says, " None has the right to be worshipped but Allah , his life and property will be saved by me." (otherwise it will not).
-- Mohammed said, "Whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him."
-- Mohammed said, " No Muslim should be killed for killing a Kafir" (infidel).
-- Muhammad said: "Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war, …"
In addition, the most popular manual of Islamic sacred law, approved by the highest Islamic religious authorities of Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, says: "Jihad means to make war on non-Muslims." What could be clearer than that?
And, how about this:
Ayatollah Khomeini, the most important Moslem leader of the 20th Century, said: "Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those who say this are witless.
Islam says: Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all! Does this mean that Muslims should sit back until they are devoured?
Islam says: Kill them, put them to the sword and scatter their armies....
Islam says: whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword!
People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! the sword is the key to Paradise, which can be opened only for the Holy Warriors! There are hundreds of other Koranic psalms and Hadiths urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Does all this mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war? I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim."

Only those who do not know what Islam means, trust Muslims. Their prophet, a pedophile, rapist, murderer, slaver, warlord, is their "ideal." Their own scriptures teach them to lie to everyone else, and seek dominion over all peoples and lands. The irony is that if Islam ever did succeed, it would self destruct in short order, for it is a predatory and destructive system, incapable of supporting prosperity.
The Koran is really no different from the Bible. You can find quotes to fit whatever your viewpoint is.
How many times have you heard "The Bible opposes gay marriage" but at the same time "the Bible tells us to love everyone". The Koran is the same way. It's just how an individual wishes to interpret the text.
Folks in the middle ages sure did a crummy job of interpreting the Bible.
Love for people and marriage are two different aspects ... God created man and women to produce life through marriage so it wasn't a sin or act of lust of the flesh like homosexuality...love of people is that they are the creation of God and need a good shepherd to lead them in troubled times...

The Bible doesn't tell Christians to kill the Infidels. The Koran does, big difference. If you saw Christians running around chopping thousands of people's heads off, refusing to allow other religions, taxing non-Christians, raping young women to make them Christian, blowing up thousand of people, committing suicide while killing thousands, fighting against all other religions and doctrines, then you would have an accurate point....but in fact, we don't see Christians doing those things.
The best you can come up with were things supposedly happened hundreds of years ago when all you and I have is someone's interpretation of what happened at that time. What we see now is Islam at war with the world and Christianity at peace but being persecuted.
So what you're saying is that some Christians oppose Gay Marriage and Muslims are murdering thousands of people and enslaving them and killing people for being gay...those two things are equal to you.
