Apparently you're not aware that Antarctica is a continent covered with ice, not just floating ice.

What Does Antarctica Look Like Under the Ice?

well this thread got silly really quick... lets see if we can get it back on some kind of track.

the things that are not in question.
first there is SEA ICE. This is frozen (mostly salt water) in the Arctic and Antarctic seas. This is floating. it has no bearing on sea levels. if it melts or if it freezes there is no impact to sea levels.

Then there is the ICE CAPS. The smaller is over Greenland. If all of the ice in Greenland melts (mostly fresh water ice) it would likely cause ocean levels to rise about 20 feet.

The larger Ice Cap is over the continent of Antarctica. If all of this ice were to melt it is estimated that it would cause about 200 feet of sea level rise

these are not in dispute by skeptical scientists. this is the reality of the planet.

Now there are a large number of things that are in dispute. For example, the Warmist scientists have told us that sea level rise is occurring and scary. however, we have a very long record and sea level rise has been relatively stable over the last 200 years. (clearly what they say doesn't match the observed record.)

Actually be saying, "Thanks to Republicans, that spot out in the Gulf is where New Orleans used to be."

Look at these predictions. If you will notice some are older ones and have not come true.

You cannot back this up.....

There is strong evidence that global sea level is now rising at an increased rate and will continue to rise during this century.
While studies show that sea levels changed little from AD 0 until 1900, sea levels began to climb in the 20th century. Is sea level rising?
