Unbelievable.. Here's one portion of the proposed law:

— Felons must relinquish weapons: California courts would set up a clear process to relinquish weapons. The authors say that more than 17,000 Californians who are prohibited from owning firearms currently have guns.

I wonder what Newsom has been smoking lately.. Is this guy serious?

I hope this remains as it is, a proposal and I hope it never comes to the ballots in 2016 in California, and I hope many will remind this guy that such a senseless proposition won't do anything to keep such magazines out of the hands of criminals.

Damn! Why didn't anyone think of this before?

Just tell all the felons to "relinquish" their weapons.

If this means a greater supply of ammo in Texas at a cheaper price, I'm all for this proposed California law.

Don't see how this can go anywhere since the last on line ammo ban failed. How do you do a background check face to face with amazon?

Both, a restriction of the 2nd Amendment. Shall not be infringed, just got infringed once again.
Like Connecticut, there will be Zero compliance.
Like immigration, the States have no say, neither does the federal government. The 2nd Amendment says so, to all government. Come after them, you face your own mortality, as I will face mine.

Thus the reason, the people were to always have more firepower than the government, and there were to be no standing army, for the government to oppress the people with. Only elected Sheriffs, by the local people, had the authority to oppress anyone for their actions, until due process.
Police forces are unconstitutional. They are not elected officials. They are an appointed army, by an incorporated entity. No corporation is to have a standing army.

I'm sure Gov Moonbeam is right on top of that. After all he signed the illegal legislation to register all illegals to vote when the DMV gives illegals licenses.

What a F**KED UP state
