The federal hearing failed miserably as did the investigations by several states, so the next step is to just defund PP because......

This makes no sense and will only result in making it more difficult on the poor and will most likely result in more abortion sand unwanted births so what's the point.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas announced Monday that it was cutting off Medicaid
funding to Planned Parenthood clinics following undercover videos featuring
discussions about fetal tissue, potentially triggering a federal court fight
like one unfolding in neighboring Louisiana.

Planned Parenthood affiliates statewide were told in a letter they were being
cut off because they were potentially “liable, directly or by affiliation, for a
series of serious Medicaid program violations” highlighted in the videos. The
five-page letter from state health officials said the organization was “no
longer capable of performing medical services in a professionally competent,
safe, legal, and ethical manner.”

The last time Texas cut funding to PP, they had to deal with an explosion in low-income pregnancies a few years later that they couldn't afford to deal with. But let's ignore history.

That's what it comes down to, it's a feel good moment even though this type of action is in opposition to the problem they are attempting to solve.

The lawsuit will be coming shortly same as was the case in Louisiana.

Explain how you will have MORE abortions AND MORE unwanted births, at the same time, because of this.

What's Texas teen pregnancy rate? How about low income pregnancy rate? How about for the entire Bible Belt?

Yep, Jesus will take care of all your problems.

You are making access for poor women more difficult, less contraception and less education will result in more abortions and unwanted births.

Case in point for what abstinence only education produces.

Let's say 10 women go to planned parenthood for family planning services, and as a result don't get pregnant.

Now let's say we cut off their access to PP, and 6 of those women get pregnant...

Let's say 2 of those women decide to have the baby...

You've gone from 0 unwanted pregnancies to 6, and from 0 abortions to 2.
