Well, the business isn't going to eat any salary increases so one way or another it will get passed on to the consumer.

what the liberals want you to believe is that the current $15/hr will get a raise too

they wont tell you that the current double of min wage (people currently making 15hr) WONT get double the new min wage at 30/hr

they wont tell you that most small bussinesses (whom employ the majority of americans) cant afford to raise the floor since they are only working on tiny 1%-5% profit margines

they wont tell you that you will see increases in prices way above the '''inflation rate'''

and they especially wont tell you that the SKILLED workers currently makng $15/hr will get the screws and now be equal with the UNSKILED worker currently making 7.20/hr

Not sure why this suddenly became a political issue when the OP wanted information, not a rant.

Every small business will handle the required increase in its own way. Unless it is written into the bill, no one now making over the current minimum will be addressed in the bill. If those people now making $15 feel they need an increase because a new hiree gets the same, that's an issue to bring up with the boss, period.

Umm no, you can't have a manager making the same as someone who is just a shift worker. This will HAVE to be addressed up front.

Simple, they become minimum wage workers.

The only exceptions are probably with unions where if there is a min. wage increase, everyone gets a pay bump in proportion to the increase.

It's not that simple. Who is going to take on extra responsibility for the same pay as someone who doesn't have to deal with all that? Nobody will.

Default If the minimum wage is raised to $15 per hour, will welfare and EBT end?

$15 a hour no need for welfare check or ebt card right?, they should be able to pay for their own stuff
