Of course Fox chose not to mention that the favorability poll it referenced shows that every Democrat (except for Nancy Pelosi) was viewed more favorably than every Republican.

We could also mention the fact that NBC news/Wall Street Journal also did a poll on the favorability of the NRA and Planned Parenthood and found that P.P. was viewed more positively than the N.R.A.

in 2014, there were 45 million

in the House elections

83 million in 2010

75 million in 2014

Even if you did want to argue the populations of the tiers running in 2010 vs 2014, you cant do it on the House level which shows a significant drop in the amount of people voting.

Soooo, explain what happened to Tim Thompsons seat in South Dakota?

Or how about Montana?

Remember, the topic is SENATE seats the republicans gained and why.

Both of your links are to the individual favorability of the candidates, not a primary candidate vs candidate (who are you voting for) Poll.

read your links before posting them next time.
I thought it referred to a wider scope than that narrow measure so my bad.

Poll: NRA more popular than Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton | Fox News

Despite Criticism, NRA Still Enjoys Majority Support in U.S.

And progressives will still ignore reality and try to claim that the US is left of center and tilting left and that everyone hates the NRA.
How come you left out that the Republican controlled Congress is less popular than Obama or Hillary.

I find it odd for the sake of news they would even put PP and NRA side by side......whatever floats their boat. Seems really strange and pathetic.

By the way I support both organizations, I am against partial birth abortion. My gun rights have never killed anyone.

Did you check out the headline of "fair and balanced" Fox News?

Poll: NRA more popular than Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton

"A new poll shows The National Rifle Association is more popular than the Democratic party's two most prominent members, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama."

"According to a Gallup Poll between Oct.19-21, just under 50 percent approve of Obama’s job performance, while 45 percent disapprove. Meanwhile, in a NBC/Wall Street Journal survey of Americans taken Oct. 15-18, 39 percent of those surveyed had a favorable view of Clinton, compared to 48 percent with an unfavorable view."

I don't know how they decided who were the two most prominent. But one is the highest of that party in the government and the other is the front runner in the race for President. On the Republican side that would be Donald Trump and John Boehner. Let's see how they're doing.

John Boehner has a 23% favorable rating, compared to Barack Obama's 50% and a 54% unfavorable rating, compared to Obama's 45%

Almost Gone -- Gallup Reviews Boehner's Standing With Public

Donald Trump has a 31% favorable rating, compared to Hillary Clinton's 39%. and a 57% unfavorable rating, compared to Clinton's 48%
Donald Trump Favorable Rating - Polls - HuffPost Pollster
(You have to click on "show more" a few times to get the Gallup numbers")

More recent numbers show Trump with a favorability rating of just 21% AMOMG REPUBLICANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

But don't hold you breath waiting for a Fox News headline reading

Left out for the same reason the Democrat controlled Congress was less popular than Obama or Hillary.

I hope this doesn't spoil whatever point you were trying to make.
