Jenner might feel like he is a woman, want to be a woman, be living as a woman, but thoughts do not change biology or reality, Sharks.
Perhaps there should be a third gender, like some other cultures embrace.
Done with this thread.
Transgenderism is a hard thing for many people to wrap their minds around. A lot of people, however, don't even try to listen. That's a problem in my mind, when no reasonable explanation is acceptable to even entertain the idea that there's more to gender than having male parts makes you a man and having female parts makes you a woman.
I don't even like Caitlyn Jenner that much - she seems to have somewhat warped views about life and has that whole killing somebody in a traffic accident thing hanging over her. But even for so many that refuse to acknowledge psychology and don't think that transgenderism is valid, why do you all care so much? It doesn't affect your life?

Don't be a copycat, don't go out of the house wearing the same outfit as Kris, Kim, Kourtney or Khloe. Always be yourself.
Do cross your legs demurely when wearing a mini-skirt and fold your hands daintily in your lap to avoid any question of a doubt that you are anything but the glorious woman you think you are.
This is one thing I don't understand about the whole Caitlyn Jenner thing. As a liberal, I think society is too concerned with gender norms as it is. A man shouldn't have to hunt, fish, play football, and chew tobacco to be considered a man and a woman shouldn't have to wear a dress, makeup, and high heels to be a woman. Yet when it's Caitlyn Jenner, conforming to gender stereotypes is encouraged and seems to be what defines gender. So what is it?
Keep in mind I have nothing against Caitlyn and believe she should be free to be the person she wants to be and do what makes her happy. It's just the hooplah surrounding it is kind of bizarre.
This has nothing to do with how an individual is dressed or what sport/personal habits they may have. The argument is that they can stand up to take a **** and that makes them a man. Dress as you like sing I am woman from the stage if you want. Until you make the complete commitment to surgically change your an old man in drag.
Being a man or a woman is more than just about genitalia. It's about how you see yourself, how you live in society as a result of that, and much more.
For the vast majority of people, the genitals and the internal gender identity match. For a small percentage of the population, however, this is not the case.
I've given this example before, but imagine if in the middle of the night, somebody replaced your female parts with male parts (your profile says you're female, so I'm going with that) and all of the associated physical changes, yet left your brain intact. Would you simply accept your new role as a man? Or would you be bothered and angry, thinking that this is a mistake, and wish you could go back to being a woman? My guess is the latter. That's what transgender people feel. (There are also people who have no gender, multiple genders, a different gender, or an unspecified gender, but we'll avoid that topic for now.)
Caitlyn Jenner is biologically male. Because of her internal gender identity, she is a woman.
Uh; a half assed trans job IMHO since Jenner still packs a male "tool".
LOL. Six pages of people in a tizzy over a fashion magazine ("Ten tricks to sexy hair") that named Lady Gaga Woman of the Year giving the same award to a transgender.
Jenner does not reflect the reality of the overwhelming majority of transwomen. The ones beaten, raped, and murdered for being trans. The ones being forced into sex work because no one will hire them. Losing their friends, family, and homes for being trans. She has the money to spend on the best health care and never has to worry about someone beating the hell out of her for being trans. She doesn't represent me and she doesn't represent the trans community. She needs to shut the hell up and stop thinking she's bringing awareness to the community because she is doing no such thing. All she reflects is wealth and privilege and that's a far remove for the trans community.

A person can think they are a dog but that doesn't make it so, Bruce Jenner is a man and nothing in this world can change that fact. All this B.S. is part of what's ruining this world, everybody is going insane.
You can add some boobs and cut off your penis but that doesn't make you a woman, it makes you a man who added boobs and cut off his penis.
