They need to turn off microphones for those who bully into the discussion or go over their time.

Gotta love Cruz, once again the t party play book just keep talking regardless if someone is listening or not. Rubio cracked me up with the claims to his Senate attendance record trying to say most candidates have high absenteeism, the problem is his attendance stunk even before he started running.

Yeah, i'm actually coming around to that conclusion..... Only by comparison to FOX.

Yet this is a BUSINESS station. I expect this type of debate.

Ever watch CNBC or FBN during trading time? They all talk 10xs faster than MSNBC and FOX. Their presentation is just a bit more harried in general. Its stylistic.

Yes..But those watching their pick seeing the deflections..and changing of subject preaches they have to blame moderators...part of the GO TO reactions!

Ohhhhh Gotcha?? Nope!! He is simply being asked how his age and experiences could actually make it something helpful in order to lead the Strongest Country in this world? IF that's a notch question..then hey..Allow any looney tony run for POTUS...Ohh wait..their already so many in the running..So just maybe Rubio can differentiate himself..BUT nope..It's a Gotcha Question..LOL

Deflection is always what happens when you have no answer..Cruz simply has NOT evolved into actual leading policy..He's stuck into the 2010 Tea Party mode..BO is evil..Defund ACA ( over 52+ times/fail) and attack /filibuster everything..close government down..Government is evil philosophy.....NOW he has to state his prescription..yet has can't..

Nope..He's stuck in 2010..forgot he is running for POTUS..thus required thinking beyond bashing BO..LOL..

Carson has been inside his little box far too long..now out of that box..still hasn't caught up with world history yet...

Speaking to the bolded:
I seriously do not think that this is the case. There are too many candidates for a real debate. Not only are the candidates there to debate each other (which has yet to happen in ANY debate this year) but to also get their positions heard. Go back and look at the Democrat debate, it happens in all of them. If there is so little time they have to quickly weigh whether to answer the question directly or to make a statement that they probably won't get asked about. A debate should be about policy issues, IMHO. It should also be about their work history in politics or in the private sector. I do not see the need for the personal questions. What should be off limits are personal family matters.

Based on what these guys say the moderators should be Republicans who are vested in the outcome. I'm surprised they don't call them liberal Yankees....

The questions have been awful, but the answers have been excellent.

It encourages me to see the media wholly engaged in attack mode, as they seem fearful and desperate. Every time they go into policy the moderators get worried and try and move on.

They have lost control.

Not thrilled with kasich though, and they aren't giving enough time to rand.it will be interesting to see his much time each candidate got.
