when the general assembly of the state of North Carolina tells my city council what they can and cannot do, that is big government.
Big government would be municipalities creating their own laws re: immigration and adding special protections for illegals. Banning sanctuary cities means cities must follow the federal laws we already have. Is your city a part of the United States or not? Federal law trumps state law, and state trumps city. Don't take any state money and see how far your city goes.

So how does one tell if someone is legal or illegal in this country just by looking at them?
Some people have an amazing ability to just be able to look at people to know if they are illegal or not, it is a really impressive talent.
It is a gift people with common sense have.
People without common sense, don't have the mental ability to come to any conclusion with the facts presented to them.
There is a big difference in Tourist and Illegal Aliens Parasites.
So a State has to enact a law that forces them to respect a pre-existing Federal law that is being ignored by the very Feds that enacted said law in the first place?
So "some" people claim they can tell an illegal from a legal? This is newsworthy? That means the majority don't claim that, duh.
