I heard that used to be the case, but apparently they've cleaned it up a lot. I think the P&L district helped out.
It still isn't safe. There is a lot of crime in the P&L district. They quit using Kemper arena because it wasn't safe to be there. Bartle Hall and Municipal Auditorium are restricted to mostly daytime activities.
I've read 4 posts from this thread and the response are so predictable.
I guess the purpose of the thread is to give racist a place to get information on a movement and a group of people who could confirm their racist little mindset.

Yes, we have different races of people.
No, there are no blue, purple, or green people. (Seriously?)
Yes, some people act like idiots.
No, not all people act like idiots.
The idiots can be citizens, or they could be citizens who wear badges.
Accountability matters. Stop covering things up. Stop pretending things don't happen.
Respect matters. We don't seem to have a whole hell of a lot of respect in this country anymore, by anyone to anyone.
Understanding matters. It's like no one even wants to try that anymore.
Personal responsibility matters. If you make a bad choice, you need to own up to it.
And while we are a nation of multiple races, we are all human beings in the end. Each person should be treated individually, based on their actions, and their actions alone. No cop, no black person, should ever be judged by what other cops or other blacks have done.
I agree with everything you stated. Sad thing is even on this forum many of us including myself, seem to forget about respect, when referring to someone we disagree with. Yes it is sad.
And I say it all the time on this forum, there is good and bad in each race or religion, or gender. And there are the bad. We cannot judge a whole race by a few actions, nor should we judge all cops as being bad.
I believe in accountability, but if we do not hold our elected officials to that standard, then we my as well give up They should not be treated any different then any of us..... because we sure as hell would not be treated as they are..
If Black people feel that they can't get a fair shake in societies run by White people, then they should consider going all Black. Why not just create thriving Black cities run by Black people with an all Black police force? The schools can be 100 percent Black and run and taught exclusively by Black people. All government services can be provided by Blacks. Think of this utopia where Black people can live free from White racism.
Love this idea but I think its already been tried...Its called segregation....
What I don't understand is when the slaves were set free why didn't they go back home if they didn't like it here.
I would tell them to keep up the good fight. What they represent and the cause they fight for, is the noblest of all.
Killing cops is noble?
