On Nov. 1, a 30-day voting period will open to more than 100,000 Hawaiians certified by the state-sanctioned Native Hawaiian Roll Commission to elect delegates who will represent them in Honolulu this winter at an eight-week constitutional convention for self-governance. More than 200 Hawaiians on the mainland and across the islands are campaigning for 40 seats at the planned assembly, where the paramount task will be to draft a document that guides the creation of a new government by and for Native Hawaiians.

Native Hawaiians are the only indigenous group in the U.S. without their own political structure.
Does this mean that they would have to have ID to vote?

Sounds like they have been identified but a check before voting would be called for.

What is the feeling towards secession among the native Hawaiians? Do they favor it?

the great de-bait... with Hawaii never Legally being a part of the US, many people say that Hawaii is a us state. That argument will go on forever. When one looks to the legality of it, Hawaii is not by international law and the laws of the US a legal state.

The toss up, there are some that want to be totally separate of to US and some who feel to be under the US. Looking at what the US did with and continue to do to the Native America as well as Alaskan, Would you chose US occupation?

Guantanimo? is that Occupied legally?

The minority support the posted action of the US helping in the nation building, Hawaiians do not trust the US as far as they can throw them. Who is the minority?? the people in the process are a big part of the movement, they have political connections that would make the process unfair for the Native Hawaiian. The process they are using have names of many people ho have died and should not be included in the "role" of participants. Their "role" consist of people who had signed on another role, and they saw it fit to include their names..... to make it look legit.

A group of Native Hawaiians are organizing an election to create a national government for the first time since American businessmen, backed by U.S. Marines, overthrew the Hawaiian kingdom more than 100 years ago.

They are trying to elect delegates for a convention next year to hash out a governing document that will go back to the Native Hawaiian community for ratification, but their plan is already facing resistance — from Native Hawaiians themselves.

Former World Bank Senior Counsel and whistleblower Karen Hudes has an amazing revelation about secret U.S. gold. Hudes says, “We’ve been offered, the United States, 170,500 metric tons of gold on deposit in the bank of Hawaii to underpin our currency which is about to crash. The Federal Reserve Notes are unconstitutional, and we don’t have to pay interest on our debt, and we don’t have to have debt for that matter.” What does Hudes say to her skeptics that doubt her story of 170,500 tons of gold in Hawaii? Hudes says, “I say you are totally kept in the dark and that the mainstream media is controlled by this network of control that is totally documented by the Federal Institute of Technology. You really ought to chide yourself that you are deliberately kept in the dark. So, you shouldn’t be surprised that the world’s wealth is hidden from you when so much else is hidden from you.”

Sorry Hawaii - joining the USA is like joining an outlaw biker gang. Once your patched in you can't quit.

But what if Hawaii suceeded in seceeding? Could that start a domino effect? Would Mexifornia and Texico go next?

Those three states have like 50% of the military assets of the country.
