If we have a failure it will be because we did not make the final slap down. A few hundred thousand deaths in Tehran could save a few million on either or both sides down the road but most of you won't understand that until it has to happen. In a few months you will jump behind Hillary or Obama or probably both and we will endure a few more years of smack downs if not down right destruction and then my prediction will come true. I would rather see it measured, as doled out by the genius of Bush, but we will have it your way. Hope we don't drag you like a ball & chain all the way to your funeral. Wake Up America!
Tehran? Al Queda is a Sunni movement, Iran is Shi'ite. The 9/11 terrorists came from Saudi Arabia, a Sunni theocracy. Why didn't the genius Bush invade them?

Amen.

Letters of Marque and Reprisal should have been used to hunt down Osama.

BRING BACK THE INQUISITION! BRING BACK THE INQUISITION!

Hint: By not providing a motive (you know.. invading their holy land), you defeat them. Ironically, by trying to defeat them, we are only making them stronger.

Nothing strengthens a theology of the oppressed quite like opression. Look at christianity.

Folks can call the Al Qaeda, Islamo-facist, or the cheese burgler gang for all I care, but I do recall seeing a couple of planes flying into some of our skyscrapers.

While I have tried to find the very first instances of the use of the term or name, "Al Qaeda", as it is certainly recent, I found some of the best information from the BBC special that ran recently called, "The Power of Nightmares" in which it is claimed that the western nations actually created this term that radical Islamist later adopted. One thing it did mention in the series was the film clips of the Al Qaeda training camps that were shown repeatedly, and it was later revealed that Bin Laden had to pay locals to "dress up" to make the film clips as a show of strength but in fact didn't have no where near the organization the west claimed he had.

BBC NEWS | Programmes | The Power of Nightmares: Baby It's Cold Outside

Quite possibly one of the most insightful series ever created to attempt to describe the rise of radical Islam as well as the rise of the neoconservative movement in the west.
