I wouldn't be surprised if the Russian public's anger at ISIS will provide Putin the necessary support he needs to launch battle-field nukes at a few targets in Syria, Iraq, or anywhere he deems necessary.
Ifcourse, an all out nuclear strike on enemies of Western civilization to wipe them out would cement Putin as the greatest European hero since Alexander the Great.

Remember the bombings of the 4 apt buildings in Russia in '99 that launched the Chechen War. The worst kept secret in the world is that Russia bombed it's own citizens to justify the war and take heat off Yeltsin for corruption. Who orchestrated it? Putin and that launched Putin's career into the Presidency.
I wouldn't doubt that Putin bombed his own plane and killed his own citizens.
If they can confirm that this was ISIS related. I am sure Russia will be stepping up more than an air campaign in the middle east. Putin is no fool. ISIS seems to be biting more than they can swallow..
If there is any saving grace to this, it's hopefully that Russia takes the kid gloves off and turns the whole Middle East into a parking lot. I wouldn't put it past Russia to have a false flag attack just to allow them to do so.
This is no false flag. This is the result of naive US intervention where hopefully the US (and the UN) has been given a reality check.

You still believe that one? Who actually ever believed it? Even US counter terrorism officials stated exactly what Russia's official reason was. The entire basis of this fiction was made up by an opponent of the regime.
But hey, believe what you wish, nothing on Earth will change your mind, just as no evidence (or lack of) will change the mind of people who believe bigfoot exists, or those who think 9/11 was an inside job.
KAL 007 was shot down by the USSR, Russia did not exist when this event happened.
Malaysian Air was shot down by Ukrainian rebels.
The US has shot down a passenger plane; does this make the US savages?
Ukraine has shot down a passenger plane; does this make Ukrainians savages?
Also there is intent, in the case of Malaysian, the Iranian, and the Siberian Air planes that were shot down, none of those were with intent, unlike a bombing that had the intent of bringing a plane down.
KAL clearly had intent, however, that was the USSR.
By the way, the Soviets downed two passenger planes, not one.
The Russian commander on the ground took responsibility for the Malaysian flight, then retracted it. The shootdown was absolutely intentional.
The Korean airliner was also intentional. And saying that it was the USSR and not Russia is lame. Russia didn't exist? What history class did you take? Russia was an SSR genius.
Russians dominated the USSR. The commander that gave the shootdown order was RUSSIAN! And the pilot who flew up and shot it down was a RUSSIAN!
Stop it.
