Is that a joke? Obama bypasses Congress. He does Executive Orders, instead. He just got slapped down by a Federal Appeals court for overreaching a little too far, in direct violation of federal law.

We can tear each other apart if that makes us happy. I know it makes the politicians happy. Then they don't have to listen to us gripe to them about not representing us like they said they would.

If anyone believes politicians, of any stripe, aren't serving their major contributors before they serve the people, they have blinders on.

It wasn't that long ago that politics wasn't a path to becoming a millionaire. Back then they were called public servants. It was only partially true but not the joke it is today.

Today we have campaign finance laws passed by the very same people who will benefit most from those laws. We have let the fox watch the hen house. When we find some chickens are missing, the fox yells, "That chicken stole them!" And we go running after that chicken.

The fox smiles and licks his chops. But we can't see it because we're chasing down that chicken to get those missing chickens back!

Fooling the electorate is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Would capitalism without guaranteed profits mean no bribing could be allowed?

No, holding politicians to their words would though.

The Libertarian Party cares about the 100% equally, values freedom & peace over bribes. They do not worship money & power. They will give the majority what they want. lp dot org/
