There is no incentive for me to go out and make 2 million, why bother? Understand it's people that own smaller business's that are going to fall into this category, they are the cornerstone of our economy.
If you are taxed at 30% on both incomes, your net is 1.4 million on 2 million, and you pay 600,000 in taxes.

And some of the richest/most politically powerful people do not have wages/income but passive and unearned income. They would still pay their share by consuming, which today they are not.
It would also tax those with illicit income. I agree. Move away from taxing income and tax consumption.

She's the national organizer for this march, who else should they interview?

That is something we can certainly agree on, one of the important things about that is exposing the tax to the consumer instead of it being hidden in the cost of the product.

Tax everything and have a rebate for lower income people for necessities. For example someone making $30K a year might get $1000 rebate for energy, another $1000 for food. The rebate decreases up to something like $75K. I'm just throwing these numbers out here as examples, you'd ahve to average what kind of tax someone is spending on food and other necessary things.

Now, if you consider a "Would you like fries with that?" job adequate employment for a college grad with an average of $29,400 in student loan debt, you'd have a point.
So now, you're shifting the goal posts... You were talking employment rate, now, you want to talk about underemployment...

You're best bet against poverty is a graduating high school.

For the fourth time, college graduates, on average, earn almost a million dollars more in salary, over their life time.

Keep your eye on the ball slugger. Stop trying to prove the unprovable. Fiscal issues aside, college is beneficial. Did you go?

I guess people don't remember these exact same tax rates when we had the largest Middle Class in the history of the World and probably the fastest growing economy.

That is easy when most of the rest of the industrialized world was bombed flat so no competition and people could deduct just about every form of interest.

The march is stupid so you would expect it's spokesmodel to follow suit.

No, I'm not. 44% of recent college grads are underemployed, a percentage that's been increasing since 2001. And they have an average student loan debt of $29,400. Someone (or actually SEVERAL someones) didn't do a cost-benefit analysis. Whose fault is that?...

She is the supposed leader of some 1 million student march. What is not surprising is she is a liberal-minded entitlist.
