The US kind of shot itself in the foot when it comes to "political correctness" with the racism that went on far too long. As a result, the US people are burdened with continually presenting as having no hidden agenda when it comes to people who are different - with the political correct position being that everything is okay and acceptable regardless of personal views. Maybe it's time to acknowledge that it's not quite right for women to wear lingerie in public, and men boinking men is a bit weird, that personal views count when it comes to preserving cultural values. Political correctness sometimes offends the senses, and perhaps it's time to cut some slack to those whose are constantly having to adjust to the "politically correct".

As for withdrawing from Iraq, please site where you got the idea that "almost every military leader said it was a horrible idea" because I don't believe that was true. Obama followed the withdrawal plan of his predecessor, with military consultation. The plan was Iraqi military was trained and going to take over operations.
