It is quite possible for Muslim to be peaceful; however Islam (excluding Sufi Islam, which is meeting the same fate as the dinosaurs) is an unmitigated cancer, utterly incompatible with western values.

France is very much involved in Africa and their former colonies. They were also a major player in Libya. Where are you getting this opinion from?
What's wrong with doing trade with your former colonies? Is the French military occupying and/or declaring war on its former colonies as the US and UK are doing? Those are two different things.

Muslims are as conservative/right-wing as they come. Islam is by definition right-wing, conservative of its beliefs, and follows a strict religious doctrine. It's hilarious that people don't realize this.
