That's because, despite the insistence of right wing nuts, most Muslims aren't a bunch of crazy extremists who share the same hateful ideology as right wing Christian extremists. They're just normal everyday people, like the majority of Christians.

The Islam religion believes everyone on earth was born a Muslim .Those who are not living as a Muslim must become a Muslim and if they refuse to convert they are the enemy and must be killed They believe killing the non-believer pleases their god Allah.
They also look at America as Satan because our ways include porn, sexual impurity, greed, materialism, and evil that must be destroyed. It is the secular world on the earth they hate.
Reasoning doesn't matter with these people. As far as they are concerned all muslims are guilty by association. Their scapegoating of an entire group is very dangerous. These are the same people that would have worked side by side with Nazi Germany to walk the Jews towards the gas chambers.
The truth is that the majority of muslims polled support radical Islamic philosophy. The one actually taking part in violence are a fraction, but the overwhelming sentiment amongst Muslims supports militantly evangelical, and is anti-Western, and vehemently anti-Jewish
