I do give Obama credit for at least calling them by their current name ISIL. (it's no longer ISIS)

Beyond that however, his policies regarding them have completely failed.

Logical fallacy. This topic isn't about me. The topic isn't about you.

Furthermore instead of addressing what I said, you instead tell people what I "believe". Get back to us when you can address a post with logic and fact instead of petty insult. It only demonstrates that you have to defense for what was said.

At one time they might have been "contained."
Before their march across miles and miles of open desert.
We didn't kill the tumor and it has metastasized.

It seems to be about Middle Eastern policy did Bush Jr not have a big part in that?

I did address what you said... You just can't handle it.

You made a comment about invoking Bush Jr and I made a comment about a president's policies and their effects extending past their term.

Let's start here then, does a president's policies and their effects stop after their term(s)? If not, then why is bringing up Bush Jr off topic in a thread about the Middle east?

Define completely failed. Last I checked ISIL hasn't directly attacked the US on US soil and last I checked Obama has not taken a unilateral approach to the Middle East and is working with NATO in many instances in dealing with ISIL.

It's best way to cause calmness in a maddening storm. Granted we dealt a blow to them it will unfortunately take more time and effort to end ISIS.

Oh, that must be why the Democrats are focusing on "Global Warming" ("Climate Change," if you prefer)! ISIS is "contained" and therefore we don't need to worry much about them. As one poster put it, Nazi Germany was a bigger threat in the 1940's!

Democrats: Just yesterday morning, Obama said ISIS was contained. Do you still believe him?
No way. He's probably secretly encouraging them behind our backs.

Has ISIS gained any new territory since then?

If not, then they are contained. Hopefully, they can be kept contained.
Contained is not enough. We need to be defeating and destroying ISIS, not just merely containing them. Remember, Barry simply can't bring himself to admit who the real enemy is.

Sad how some people think that way, petch. Thankfully, there are a lot more who voted No in the poll.
