41 men targeted but 1,147 people killed: US drone strikes

Bring the troops home and protect the borders like the constitution says.

The problem is that we don't value their lives because of the region of the world they live in. It's just astonishing that we can kill so many people and no one cares.

I find it much more astonishing that the region of which you speak harbors and breeds people who can kill so many people and that elicits celebration among the people in the region of which you speak.

Obama wanted "boots on the ground in Syria" and the repubs and many dems said No. I guess if Obama doesn't get what he wants, he just keeps at it and makes it happen by hook or by crook. The American people apparently have no say in anything any more.

I'm pretty sure McCain and Graham cheered the idea on.

Just no.

The cycles of combat have been so long and so frequent that thousands soldiers now have spent three to four cumulative years at war in Iraq or Afghanistan.

American soldiers of the 21st century are quietly making history, serving in combat longer than almost any U.S. soldiers in the nation's past.

Why should they keep on dying for the stupid Middle East I must ask?

Because Syria and Iran haven't been conquered yet by us, that's why.
