This is at least some good news and now it goes to the Senate, but look at all those Democrats who voted no. They clearly want to make is as easy as possible for potential terrorists to get into this country. Thankfully Republicans have taken over the House and Senate and in another year, the White House!

Why would they be against more strict rules? Especially given what just happened in Paris and Germany within the last week?

I think they are so thinking on a theory level and not a reality level about potential terrorist coming across the border or through refugees, that it would never raise to a level of crossing their minds.

They are that delusional or dangerous to America in their every day thinking IMO.

America First.

at this point, all of the terrorist that have been identified were European citizens, not refugees.

By your logic, our problem is actually immigrants from Belgium, not refugees from Syria.

The reality is that our system of taking in refugees is not the same as that of the EU, it takes at least 18 months to become a refugee and be brought to the US, and that is after being recommended for the program itself which could take another 6 months before hand.

Further more, this bill doesnt address anyone coming across at the border.

Im not talking about where they are from, Im talking about Muslims in general. I don't see Buddhists or Hindus going around blowing **** up and threatening the US, do you?

Good, being Obama would be responsible for WW3 they should give him at least something to veto before the next terror attack here.

It will ALL be on Democrats and Obama.

Because Hindus and Buddhists are not a head hunting women abusing death cult claiming to be a religion. It's as simple as that.

1.2 billion Muslims with 300 million radicalized by the smallest estimates of radicalization.

So what is their explanation? Why would they vote against additional vetting, especially given the current circumstances? What's the reason?
