There was no terrorist state that controlled territory prior to our 03 invasion of Iraq.

We created a power vacuum

Doesn't this sound like ..."Raise the debt ceiling or we'll cut off your Social Security checks"

The boy that cried wolf. They aren't going to cut off any money to any country.

You may want to look up the suicide bombings in Israel and who funded it with $10k-$25k per occurrence. They actually stopped within a few years of Saddam being killed and the bank account being emptied.

Maybe we should extend this to the states that indicated they won't accept refugees, especially those that are on the deficit end of federal tax dollars.

That statement about Israel left me totally speechless. And that rarely happens.

Why not put some Syrians in all those new settlements Israel is creating at the expense of Arabs, seems like a net win. Time for the US greatest ally and democracy in the ME to step up. Where is Netanyahu, in the witness protection program?

Those settlements as you call them are filled with American Jews. There is no expense to Arabs since no Arab village was bulldozed to create them and no Arab person has a deed to it. The Arabs wanting to build some imaginary future state there does not make it theirs.

Syria, ruled for most of its modern history by the Assad family, has been to war with Israel four times in 1948, 1967, 1973 and 1981, doesn't even recognize Israel's right to exist, and is a hotbed of violent anti-semitism due to the Jews being a convenient scapegoat.

Israel has the right not to commit suicide I guess.

So they bulldozed Arab houses because they didn't have a deed, sounds fair.

Why can't Americas greatest ally help out another country in this time of need, where have they been?
