What I don't understand is this: aren't there people all over the world, (including the US) experiencing violence? What I don't understand is why we are so involved with relocating a certain population because they want to flee their country. Aren't there others that want to leave their country too that are experiencing just as much violence? Or is Syria a most unusual case?

What did we do for Ethiopians when they were starving? Did we bring them here? Fill me in.

Keep in mind a far far majority of persons now in the US are at least descendants of persons fleeing their "homeland" for one reason or another.

Only importing Muslims, tens of thousands of Christians were allowed to be slaughtered.

It is not a relocation, it is a replacement of white Christian Europeans by Muslims. Leftists are working on their socialist utopia, they believe that Muslims are better capable to embrace it.Therefore Leftists import Muslims by millions in the hope that they with their sky-high birth rates will outnumber Christians, take their homes and countries.

Our biggest failure is that we allowed completely insane people to run western countries.

That's five questions.

But, you're trying to understand liberal reasoning. That's the source of your confusion. Liberals don't use any logical thought process. They make decisions based on feelings and liberal propaganda catch-phrases.

Most of leftists are insane from the beginning.

Oh look, lots of insults, and no discussion. Nice.

For example, those quoting Ecclesiastes obviously are unfamiliar with the next sentence. Furthermore, the way a fool lives shows he has no sense; he proclaims to everyone that he’s a fool.

For example.....trying to conflate "left" and "right" political views from a bible written before either existed.

Or those that think the only people fleeing Syria are Muslims. 1 in 10 in Syria are Christian, and about 1 in 5 that are refugees are Christian.

And then there are those who think a comic somehow helps their argument, without comprehending that you can replace the word liberalism, with conservatism, or extremism, and it makes sense.

Why do so many fail to even study or think about this topic, and instead have these knee jerk reactions is beyond me.

As for the OP:
LOL. I think comparing the level of violence that the Syrians are experiencing to say...the US is a odd? But then you kind of make it clear that you don't comprehend the level of violence occurring. Currently somewhere between 130,000 and 250,000 have died in their civil war. If we had a similar death rate, it would mean about 1-3 million dead. So yeah its pretty unusual. As for why are we so involved in relocating people....we're not actually. We're taking a trivial number of people from the area, and dropping them into our huge population. Europe is where far more is occurring. We've taken in 1,500 Syrian refugees out of 4 million or so. Turkey took in 2.1 million to give you a comparison. We are discussing taking in more (but still very few), but conservatives have wet themselves in fear.

By comparison we took in around 90-150K Ethiopian refugees. And we provided food aid, and other aid to them.

Well, greywar you're right...not many really answered the questionS(yes, more than two, my apologies) without some snarky remark. You also participated in it by laughing at my question and calling it "odd". (and adding a few snarky comments yourself about conservatives) Nothing odd about it. Perhaps I didn't word the question correctly, that much I know. The point I was trying to make was violence is happening all over the world...and here in the US. We cannot, and should not be the sole world police.

There's something about Syria the puppet masters want. They want Assad gone. They've set up Isis and let them do as they pleased and very likely directed them after certain targets. We heard about Christians being slaughtered, how they over ran the Iraqis. Then westerners got attacked in various Middle east and north African countries. It was all a fast sell. Then Russia got involved and soon had a reason to get things stepped up... that plane was blown up very conveniently and very professionally. The flood gates get open and they experiment with open borders and then you get a very bloody rampage in France. Again, its a fast sell to have us get over there on the ground. They want to take over the region and do it by destabilizing it first. I don't say WE, I say THEY. The US government isn't calling the shots, they're only doing as ordered. It isn't even in the US' best interests.
I can think of maybe one reason. The oil industry is about to implode and the whole region is going to collapse and be one huge unstable war zone as money suddenly stops going there. Maybe they need cover to get many out now before that happens.
