Laquan McDonald's killing: Black leaders seek fed probe - CNN.com

What do you say to people who have zero sympathy or support for McDonald and Brown because they think of them as criminals? And, these people also think that they nor anyone in their family would ever be in the positions McDonald (committing crimes, walking with a knife while police telling him to drop it, etc.) and Brown (robbing the store, etc.) were in.

I know for a fact that neither me nor anyone in my family would rob a store, rough up the clerk, assault a cop and go for his gun.

I know that my family and I would have the good sense to obey police commands and not think we were so special as to be above the law.

You do a criminal injustice to the memory of Laquan McDonald by comparing him to Michael Brown. At least five witnesses saw Brown charge Darren Wilson with two of them saying that they would have shot sooner if they had been Wilson.

Btw, these were black people who said this.

From what I have seen, McDonald was executed.

To the anti-racist racists, they are identical because they were both black.

If we remove color from the equation the only thing left is one was a thug, the other victim. One tried to hurt/kill a cop, the other was executed by a cop.

It's ridiculous to compare the two, but ridiculous seems to be the emotion of the day in America.

These are very different cases. Michael Brown was a thug who deserved death based on his actions...the gene pool in Ferguson increased when he was removed from it.

laquan McDonald may have been a criminal but the cops actions appeared to be murder. So I have sympathy for McDonald but not Michael Brown.

I would say, I understand and agree with them.

McDonald had a knife pulled out ready to stab. Brown was empty handed.

Mc Donald:

Kid's bio dad had nothing to do with him.

He was removed from his mother's residence at age 3 due to his mother's neglect.

She eventually got him back and permanently lost custody of him at age 5 because she allowed her BF to abuse him.

The kid has bounced around relatives paid to provide foster care ever since when he was not in custody for breaking into cars and trucks.

His estate ( bio mother and sister) sued the city and the suit was settled for $ 5 million.

Law firm representing the estate took 35-45% off the top of the settlement.

His bio mother and father threw him away a long, long time ago.
