The article I posted did state that two were castrated, but it has since been edited to show one Israeli athlete was castrated by Palestinian terrorists on that day, not two.
The article above quotes the widow of one of the Israeli athletes murdered by the Palestinian terrorists.

I'm so sad the two widows had to find out after all these years such a horrible detail that their husbands' murders included castration by the Palestinian terrorists when taken hostage during the Olympics of 1972. At least one of the two athletes was reported to be possibly be alive when his genitals were cut off in front of his fellow athletes. Horrible image for a loved one....
Palestinian terrorist in Germany aided by Germans who still hated Jews. Other than a memorial visit, why would anyone of Jewish heritage ever want to go to Germany and certain other parts of Europe ever again?
They're dead. Israel doled out retribution over 30 years ago. Hell, we protected one of the masterminds of the plot for nearly a full decade and wouldn't let the israelis touch him. (Salameh)
So why are we supposed to get our hackles up over this for? They're no more dead than if they WEREN'T castrated.
Palestinians still celebrate the Munich Olympics as a victory and not everyone involved were brought to justice or executed.
The Soviets and many others were well known for sending living enemies home without the family jewels...but we are supposed to have a fit about one guy who might have been castrated 43 years ago--at a time Americans were busily dropping napalm on peasants.
Israelis believe that everyone ought to be as enamored of them as they are of themselves.

Exemplified by the bleeding heart conservatives who told us what a noble thing it was to spend American blood and taxpayer $$$ to bring a better life to Muslim Iraqis while they now vilify Obama as being a Muslim sympathizer. Their hypocrisy knows no limits.
What happened was bad enough, but this story has me asking questions.....If I had been told this about a loved on there is not way I would have just kept quite about it. I'll grant that it's possible these women had their reasons though.
It still seems a little odd that a story about something that might have happened just now comes out and it seems is being misrepresented itself.
Israelis have been the beneficiaries of an egregious double standard since 1948. It's not hypocrisy to notice it.
