Exactly my point.
It's a "Starting Point."
The problem is that there is no "Ending Point."
At least until we are a disarmed, defenseless populace.

So...
NOT AN INCH!

Don't be so hard on yourself. Originally these inhuman evil Moslems planned on hijacking 10 planes just in the US and more in South east Asia.

Meanwhile, there were 332 fatal stabbings in the UK last year -- more murders by knife in the UK than murders by rifle in the US (which has 5 times as many people).

The overwhelming majority of guns used to commit murder are handguns, but anti-gun rhetoric is aimed at the guns responsible for 300 murders while ignoring the small, easily concealable ones that were responsible for at least 5,000.

Murders committed by firearm (and by other means) are on the decline in the United States, regardless of the hysteria being spread by our media and online that would make you think otherwise.

Obama and company is focused on using a terrorist attack to justify gun bans. Maybe they should be focused on reviewing how VISA's to see how many they let through?
As we have seen the last 2 weeks ME muslims have been caught trying to cross our southern border. I shudder to think how many have succeeded. Maybe improved border security should be a focus.

This needs to be stressed a lot more than it is. The average American thinks violent crime is at all time highs, when crime rates actually haven't been this low since the early 1960s. They are scared - and frightened people often make bad decisions (both individually, and in terms of what laws get passed).

We desperately need to stop being so frightened of one another!

In the UK most knife cases are handled by armed response officers. Most PCs aren't armed with tasers because of public opinion. You see countless cases of PCs running away from criminals armed with weapons.

You shouldn't try to apply UK laws in the United States as they won't work because it is a completely different culture. The UK has an issue with knife attacks.
