Multiple shots fired, husband was right, one guy down. Any other news on this. One officer may have been hit, north of the 10 fry which is where my husband is right now.

Think it is a commercial area. Suspects in the vehicle. Heard two suspects are down, not sure or not.

Fair enough. My point is this: can we agree that there are areas of Miami (predominately hispanic) that are dangerous, rather than just the black areas?

My husband has seen swat and police cars flying by where he is, I am a nervous freaken wreck today. Now I hear one suspect down, which is it one or two. Just heard shots fired, anyone else hear this.

I cannot concentrate today. One suspect down for sure.

My husband talked to a S.B. police officer he knows, says this is still ongoing, and there was a shootout. I cannot concentrate on work today. The gunfire I believe was on S.B. avenue. Rapid fire taking place , he says now that one or two suspects down, I am not sure of anything right now, he is so upset.

I have news back on now. Believe the 3rd suspect is still shooting. Police using a shield.

If you believe it's about gun control, please explain Mexico (btw, Mexico is a developed country).

Poverty does play a role; however, many countries with both poverty and guns don't experience the same problems as the US.

Our problem is cultural, and gun laws and safety nets will do very little to address it.

It's now very off-topic. But no, it's simply not true. I wouldn't want to live in Hialeah but its homicide rate is at 6 per 100k, that's far lower than those places I mentioned.

Cops surrounding Cornerstone Assembly of God.

Christian terrorists no doubt.

Sad thing, murdering innocent people.

Too late for a Fedgov gun-grab to have anything more than a micro-miniscule effect of these shootings.

I simply meant other countries don't have these as often as we do, yeah, you hear about Paris, but in general how often does it really happen in western nations as much as it does here, that was my only point in terms of what I mean in what the hell is going on and what's the psychology behind it. Paris was obvious it was an ISIS attack, but what about all of the school shootings and all of the other places here that have nothing to do with terrorism as we understand terrorism.

I thought your post was being sarcastic and downplaying the tragedy because you mentioned the 130 count in Paris.
