I don't know if you know this, but Examiner isn't real news. But I'll give you credit for driving up your pay-per-click by spamming this everywhere.

Wouldn't an organization like ISIS use two or three people to hit a mall or ball game where they can do more damage? Also--they ran away, so did not appear that these were religious martyrs. Not sure I'd be calling people 'imbeciles.'

This is on a smaller scale, with the same impact, evil is evil, no matter how many innocent are killed.

But you make a good point, this is why I am not believing anything even though my husband knows a S.B. police officer, until all facts are out on the table.

Those who are affiliated with ISIS are not afraid, to kill themselves. These fled the scene, so good point. Except for the point is that they were more then ready for a war, almost as if this were planned.

But do not believe this was due to a Xmas party until I hear this for myself from the investigators.

that is irrelevant because it is an excerpt from a book.

Terrorists who attacked what they were familiar with. What other obvious target would present itself in San Bernardino?

Its not a gone postal attack, when its such an elaborately planned attack. It may be planned to look such.

Both the SB police and the Colorado police were amazing. I think the Colorado ones were slightly better, but its hard to know because the evolution of the two situations was so different. IE one they got immediately engaged in and took multiple casualties, the other 2-3 had to be found, and chased down.
Billions.

Active shooter engaugement techniques have change and improve immensely as well. Also as you pointed out the two situations were different.

Not to mention technology advancements.

This obviously is not just over a dispute at a party.

-Devout Muslim that would leave work to pray.
-Basically a suicide mission with 3 people total.
-Booby trapped house.
-Had tactical gear.
-Suspicious Neighbors saying they would be working at odd hours in the night and receiving packages from weird people.

Obviously these guys had been prepping for such an event with an extreme ideology. Perhaps something at the party set it off in motion earlier than planned.

However, no one gets upset at a party...runs home, throws on their tactical gear they have laying around the house, rigs the home with explosives, grabs a couple buddies willing to die and murder for your party feud and then go on a killing spree...

Seriously?
That's my #2 theory.
