It is often times important to not bother listening to the news until they have actual factual news to report. It is too early to even report anything about the shooters in an attempt to understand why it happened in the first place.
maybe in your mind, but the fact remains there is a connection between his being a Muslim and the action he took. Does this make all Muslims bad? of course not, but stop this "we don't really know yet" When someone goes to a black church and starts shooting do you say, let's wait and see, we don't know why this happened? of course you don't.
I would imagine Obtaining AK47's in France is extremely difficult, but yet Muslim terrorist there had no problem, and killed 129 people.

But it does have open borders as part of the Schengen Agreement which makes it very difficult to stop these sort of arms coming in.
The UK,which is not part of the agreement,doesn't have the same sort of problem with high-powered weapons.
Heck,most people in the UK never see a gun in their entire lifetime and most police officers are unarmed.Hardly any die in the course of their duty.
It's only in broken societies where everyone needs to walk community streets armed at all times, fearing for their safety on a minute-by-minute basis.
I get how you think that arming everyone is an expedient immediate solution, and sure it will help in places... but the fact that we need to get to this point to have a hope of safety and civility indicates that America is badly, badly broken.

The mosque they were going to needs to be investigated thoroughly. In France they have already closed down three mosques since the Paris shootings, and they are saying they may close down between 100-160 more.
Funny, because earlier, liberals were assuming everything. Then, after the muslim bit comes out, suddenly we can't assume anything without all the facts.

Before it was even publically known who the murderers were, Obama came on TV to stress the need for more gun control. He did make a comment about we can inforce the no fly zones and keep people from entering the country, now we have to keep guns out of the wrong peoples hands was his comment. I am, of taking what he said somewhat out of context as I do not remember his exact words. Of course there needs to be background checks, who thinks otherwise, but all the gun control in the world will not stop what happened yesterday. Libs and Mr. President wake up.
It doesn't matter who, what matters is how easily killers are able to do it. Yes, skip the prayers, time to try common sense.
