Hmm, who knew? Turns out high cost, high deductible, high out-of-pocket insurance is not as popular as Democrats thought it would be. And they do not seem to be getting away with doing the "Shut up," they replied' routine anymore.

Too many people have noticed that the ACA sucks.

Now we need bipartisan reform to fix this hash, which admittedly replaced different hash. But no more pretending that the ACA is working, OK?

Fixing Obamacare is a hot potato that none of them want to touch.

It was a disaster in the making and now we're stuck with it.

As long as the GOP refuses any change that doesn't include getting kicked off your health insurance when you get sick, the ACA is as good as we're gonna get.

^THIS. Seriously folks, come up with a real solution, and you can do a replace and repeal and we will try it, until then the only thing most people hear is "Our new plan is-if you get sick, die fast".

You libs are so funny.

Democrats passed this monstrosity and the left wingers demand that Republicans fix it.

What reforms have your overlords in the Democrats proposed to address the obvious and many problems of the law THEY PASSED. Hint: none.

Why does the GOP need to come up with a solution ?

Why can't the Dems REVISIT their bad law and fix it themselves ?

Democrats can't get any fixes passed with Republicans in control of Congress.

And no major bill in history has been perfectly written from day 0. Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, etc. all had implementation issues that were later fixed legislatively. The only thing unique about ACA is that half of Congress is unwilling to allow improvements.

Also note that while disapproval of the ACA is high, polls also show that 55% or so of Americans are opposed to repealing it.

A logical intelligent response.

Now try to sell that to the 20-30 somethings that are now starting to get hit with penalties.

Or people like my parents who were kicked out of their retirement healthcare plan and shoved into the ACA to the tune of $500/month out of their pocket. (Oh, did I mention that the guy that did this is GE CEO Immelt who heads Obama's jobs council?)

Right or wrong, most voters are idiots and the benefit that ACA provided to the 1-2% with chronic illness may not be recognized by many younger voters and others disrupted in their healthcare.

On top of that, now many insurers are pulling out of exchanges.

It's going to be really really funny watching Hillary spin this one....her big problem there is that she already has voter trust issues with moderates.

P.S. Whatcha going to do? Most voters are idiots that want free sh*t regardless of party affiliation.

Right because when you ramrod something through with a "mandate" in control of the house, presidency and senate..... and then the winds change the people that were frozen out the first time around should gladly join in....or it's their fault for not being team players?

LOL. Seriously? I'm sure due to your party affiliation you see your side as the victim of republicans that just won't work with you but those of us in the middle ain't buying it.

They only oppose repealing it because they have not been shown what the replacement will be. The bill was passed without majority support of the public, so why can't the repeal??
