I don't have a problem as long as 2 things happen:
1) The physical requirements stay the same as they were before and aren't adjusted down for women.
2) All women are now required to sign up for selective service.
You really believe this will happen?
Don't food yourself. Your army will be downgraded in the name of equality. Amusing thing is that while this is intended to empower women, it's probably the women who will suffer the most as they get torn into pieces by the stronger males.

No, I don't believe it will, I was just stating what would have to happen for me to support it.
If it were, I believe there would only be a very small number of females who'd make the cut.
If a male soldier is wounded, behind enemy lines and a female soldier needs to carry him to safety, if she can't do it, she not only endangers his life but hers as well.

That would demand actual equality. Don't expect that idea to be warmly received.

Agreed with 1, but I don't think anyone should be required to sign up for selective service.
I see some of these Affirmative Action specials in cop uniforms. These women that look like the Pillsbury Doughboy and they are going to protect me? Only with a gun maybe.
I just hope they don't do that to the military. One or two here and there for headlines and then shuffle them back to the rear so the real soldiers can do their jobs.
Good. If our young men can be bullet fodder, so can our young women. Maybe, just maybe, this will cause politicians to not be quite so gung-ho to proclaim us the world's police.
Pregnancy can affect the deployability of a unit when the unit has a disproportionate number of women or is understaffed.
