How stupid can the GOP Senators be for voting down keeping people who are on the no-fly list away from guns.
Time for the NRA to be called supporter's of Terrorism.
Stupid is as stupid does.
We have a concept here in the US called "due process of law" which means, in this case, if you want to remove someone's rights, you take them to court.
The no fly list cannot be reviewed by citizens, those on the list are not told why they are on it, they don't know who put them on it, and they have no redress about being on it. To say that if you are on that list that some of your rights are gone is just plain WRONG!

I begrudgingly and realistically agree
How about any American citizen on the list has the right of redress
Any non American living here does not
Acceptable compromise?
Non americans should never be able to access weapons ... Thry do however . easily... And we have laws ineffectively used in place to deal with them... Including deportation..which is becoming increasingly difficult under Obama

Specifically, when the Constitution says "person" instead of "citizen", it applies to all people in the country.
Further, one should not have to go to court to get back the rights that were wrongly removed from them (ie, they weren't convicted) in the first place.
My solution is simple - Radical Muslims are bringing the war to us on our homeland, so keep law-abiding Americans armed and ready to defend ourselves. Imagine the outcome if those two terrorists in San Bernardino walked into a room full of armed individuals. Imagine the outcome if the thugs in Paris walked into a bar or a restaurant and half of the patrons were armed.
This is a different war, random attacks can happen anywhere and you cannot keep the military in every place 24 hours a day, how about giving any average American the chance to defend ourselves? The Japanese knew that most Americans were armed back in the 1940s that's one of the reasons why they chose not to invade the mainland.
That's a dead Jihadi Female Terrorist, armed heavily ... with body armor ... on US soil. Laying dead in the street, after a firefight with law enforcement, following her involvement in the murder of US innocents, in a gun free zone. If you don't see this for what it is - we have a serious problem, If you think controlling access to guns will stop this YOU have a serious
problem,
My54....
I think obama should examine his own unconstitutional foreign policy as a cause and leave our constitutional rights alone.

Another solution is keep people like Obama out of the White House and all political offices. Political Correctness is not going to defeat radical Islamists.
So have 'YOU' called your senators and congressman and told them you want him removed from office, yet?
"My" Senators and Congressmen are diehard Dems (Rhode Island)
Contacting them is a total waste of time.
That is not the case in other states, but it is in the one I'm from.
