I would definitely agree with both your selections. Both brilliant men!

Thomas Sowell is additionally an extremely prolific author of not only dense and thoughtful books, but his ability to present the theories of economics in terms that are understandable to everyone is invaluable!

Sowell is one of the people I would choose to be stuck on a desert island with or someone I would love to have dinner with.

Some of Sowell's earlier work is worthy, but he has gone sharply downhill into a morass of bumper-sticker slogan neoconservatism.
