Anti-gun? I'm licensed to carry in more states that you are. You folks in this thread who are against background and mental health checks to buy guns probably can't pass them.
And the 2nd amendment told the government mail order guns, no questions asked "was" perfectly legal.
I have guns, bought through mail order and delivered to my door, via the mailman. Who took my rights to obtain a weapon and surely my ability, when the 2nd amendment says hell NO they can't.
I mean come on. I can take unlimited choices and narrow it down to one, and say you have a choice. You have the choice to arm yourself, or not... That is your choice.

Yes, how dare we expect the US Government to abide by the Constitution. We must all have a criminal history. After all, what other reason could we possibly have for wanting to keep the government from infringing upon our rights?
I have no problem passing a background check. I would just prefer not to have any more hoops to pass through because of a feel good law which does nothing to stop what it is meant to stop. Especially when said law is unconstitutional.
Why were we not told a back ground check must be performed from the beginning of the US. Constitution, in the 2nd amendment. The document chaining down the government on the matter of ARMS?
Why just in the last 40 years? Have they decided this was within the constitution?
Why in the last 100 years? Have they decided we could not make and buy any weapon we wish? Remember, they are the government that the founders knew would try to disarm the people, of the very weapons capable of defense of a tyrannical government.

During his overblown speeches when Obama demands gun control . . how many times have you heard him admit that his beloved Chicago which has some of the strictest gun control laws in our nation also has some of the highest number of shootings?

There is no such thing, as a "black market" in guns. Rights don't have "black markets" ONLY GOVERNMENT CAN TAKE MY RIGHTS!
The guy driving guns and selling them, is no different than the stagecoach driver hauling gold in the past. He had someone riding shotgun, because there were all kinds of people that wanted what he had. It becomes a problem, when it is the government that wants it. That is tyrannical, in a free society.
How long did you have to dig for this story? The stats for CCW holders committing a crime with a firearm are roughly 0.006%. This includes minor offenses such as taking their firearm into a gun free zone by accident. That's lower than the rate of police officers committing crime. You'd be safer in a roomful of CCW holders than you would be at a policeman's ball.
I could post a link per day to a story about a child in Chicago getting shot, and those aren't done by CCW holders.
Before you ask, the 0.006% stat comes from the crime prevention research center.
