Or do you think he won't care to in an attempt to still control the pose and monies of his minority party for himself?

I think the latter, what do you think?

Has she been indicted, gone to trial, and found guilty of anything?

She will be exposed to prosecution still after the election by the AG of the next administration and the likely winner of the next election said they would go after her, that it is not fair to be held to a different standard than everybody else.

If she's elected, he'll extract promises from her to conceal his crimes. Otherwise, she'll be indicted.

Not necessary.

Ford pardoned Nixon of all offenses from a certain date which covered everything having to do with Watergate even though Nixon had not been formally charged with anything. That ended the possibility of future indictments of Nixon over anything having to do with the Watergate affair. Others did go to jail for it.

It should be noted the public takes a very dim view of this sort of thing. The move cost Ford the 1976 election as he was defeated by Jimmy Carter. It's also one of the things that people remember about Ford.

It's not clear to me that Obama would want to be remembered for this. He isn't exactly a fan of the Clintons.

He had better hurry or there will be no one to pardon him.

You have to be convicted of a crime before you can be pardoned.

The Clinton's have too much dirt (leverage) and they are above the law.

That is a unique perspective. Maybe the better question is could he retroactively pardon himself?

That's incorrect. I already explained it above.

Because the Clintons can take a lot of people with them as they go down, including the financials on the Clinton Foundation.

No, but he was about to be indicted. So I'll adjust my words to include indicted.

There were no historical or legal precedents to guide Ford in the matter of Nixon’s pending indictment. In the end, he decided to give Nixon a full pardon for all offenses against the United States in order to put the tragic and disruptive scandal behind all concerned.
President Ford pardons former President Nixon - Sep 08, 1974 - HISTORY.com

His pardoning of Nixon and ushering in Carter is a fine example of how perception superseded common sense. The Carter years were far worse than the Nixon years.
