In the first two years after the gun ban, they confiscated around 650,000 guns. We have around 300-350,000,000 guns in our country. That's millions with an M.

Yeah that pesky Constitution! Nothing but an outdated rag, eh Lexus? I have a better idea, how about you and Dear Leader that you blindly swoon over like some sort of god pack your things and move to Australia, and stop trying to p*** on the Constitution, and restricting the rights of American citizens?
I think no other state in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic has a stronger "gun culture" and respect for the 2nd Amendment than my home state of Pennsylvania. We have a long tradition of hunting, and there are dozens of public gamelands.
I know of only a few people who want to abolish the 2nd Amendment entirely, but I do see a groundswell of public opinion to close all the loopholes as far purchasing a firearm. Gun sales by non-authorized sellers or failure to abide by restrictions on the seller is an issue. A lot of folks want guns not readily available to criminals, terrorists, non-citizens, or the insane.
If some sort of reasonable condition isn't implemented on the sale of weapons and ammo, there may very well be a movement to repeal the 2nd Amendment.
