Without them, the world would be a very scary place.

And with them, the world is much more peaceful.

So much focus on the bad ones in the news (some news channels) when most are good.

Thank God for Honest Police

Yes, because he is the only one you can turn too when a dishonest one shows up in your face.

And if those honest cops were more forthcoming about the criminals amongst them just think how much safer we would all be.

What's this honest cops badge number? We need to turn him into the police union for betraying the brotherhood.

Why do statists pick on police so much?

They are one cog in the wheel of the involuntary coercive state.

Most of the time you are being robbed, imprisoned, or killed by the pen...not the sword.

I'm not a statist but you can't have a police state without police.

Well, any state is a police state unless all parties voluntarily agree to terms.

When the misdeeds of the state manifest thru police action it usually results in a specific violent confrontation (traffic stop).

I get that. And I see why that can bug folks. It's a ready-made injustice.

But the police are such a small ancillary part of the problem known as the involuntary state.

I'm just not feeling being shot down in the street as being just an "ancillary" problem. But hey that's just me.
