There are plenty of Christian terrorist groups at home and abroad (The Army of God, Lord's Resistance Army, NLF of Tripura, Antibalaka, etc.).
They're not as prolific as Islamic extremists in the amount of mayhem they cause, but they're out there.
Funny, I just read an article from a right-wing nut job who claims Christians have committed ZERO acts of terrorism in recent years. How naive can a human being be?
Again is it possible to have militant Gandhism? Militant Christianity is an oxymoron. Certainly in its name anything is possible. Now perhaps that is a problem because it is so passively absurd that militancy must always be bolted onto it. After all, Christianity could afford to be passive becuase it was not trying to be a state. The Roman empire was well enough in control. So I suppose Christianity by being silent on it necessarily might leave a vacuum because its orthodoxy is just not practical.
Pretty much summed that one up. When you hang with them; the you are.Hanging out and living with a group of extremists by choice and not birth. He was a Christian Terrorist.

What Obama does for Islam in this sentence:
"ISIL does not speak for Islam. They are thugs and killers, part of a cult of death. And they account for a tiny fraction of a more than a billion Muslims around the world, including millions of patriotic Muslim-Americans who reject their hateful ideology."
is what some Christians do for their religion. They simply proclaim that anyone who commits terror or other heinous acts is, by definition, not a Christian. However, ...
As many have pointed out over and over, in the year 2015, the effort to equate Islamic-based terrorist groups --- well-funded, international, murdering thousands upon thousands of fellow Muslims --- with the groups you named is bizarre.
McVeigh stated he was an agnostic the day before he died. Any rituals that took place for whatever reason does not change that fact.
No, an agnostic is not a Christian and vice versa. Factually untrue.
Thus, calling McVeigh a Christian terrorist is factually inaccurate.
Again, he stated himself that he was agnostic. Are you claiming he lied? Are you mixing him up with Eric Rudolph?
You guys are really reaching here and looking rather ridiculous.
If you guys want to discuss an actual Christian terrorist, that would be, say, Eric Rudolph.
But you are not making a case by incorrectly labeling non-Christians such as McVeigh, Hitler, Stalin etc. as Christians. Let's try to stick to facts here.
it's really entertaining how desperately these leftists want mcveigh to be a christian
This is my general heritage. I have a grasp of history.
Spend time in Belfast proper where Catholic and Protestant communities continue to be separated by walls. Occasionally, one will find such a wall in the middle of a block. Rocks and the occasional bomb continue to be tossed over these walls.
All religions have their issues. Christianity is no exception. When you kill and shout ,"no more baby parts" that is still terrorism.
Except his had NOTHING to do with religion. There is a massive difference between a crazy loon who takes a gun and starts shooting, and a planned terrorist attack with a designed structured outcome. Nobody really fears Christians, in reality, but it is used to justify hating them.
Here we are, days after a quite successful Islamic Terrorist attack on US soil, and we're knee deep in blaming Christians.
Who are the lunatics again?

... yet, as I said above, here we are. Doesn't seem like the truth is important to ideologues.
he wasn't an atheist. what do you call a man that was raised catholic and still believed in god when he was executed?
He is just trying to ignore reality, this question has been brought up many times and every time it goes exactly the same way. Denial is how some go through life.

A loon that was disenchanted with the US after serving in the military. Nothing in his manifesto described a Christian belief. Many people believe in God, but that has nothing to do with secular religion.
If clarity is so great with regards to these Islamic terrorists not representing Muslims, then why is a different benchmark used for Christians? Is it because this is a Christian country (the largest on earth) with millions who hate us, so Christians are just being used as a soft target to mutually hate? I think so.
Christians, who adhere to Christ are the truly peaceful. Again, Muhammad taught to live under the shadow of a sword, while Christ taught to turn the other cheek, and if it be slapped, offer the other cheek.
Please post if you fear Christian terrorism, and let us know why.
